Who ever said "Good things come in small packages" must
have been talking about the Braque du Bourbonnais.
This
small, agile, versatile hunting dog is truly a treat to hunt with. They have a built in "on/off switch", They flip
the "ON" switch the minute you release them in the field. Together they combine a great desire to hunt
with agility, grace and stamina that is hard to beat. At home they flip that hunting switch "OFF" and they are calm
and easy to live with, if you didn't know them, you would never believe that dog on the couch is actually a hunting dog.
The Braque du Bourbonnais, have so many great qualities that make them welcome not only in your home, but
also into your families. They are a very sweet and loving companions, with the overwhelming desire to please you.
Aspen Ridge Kennels was established to help continue breeding fine quality
hunting dogs. Mike and I are avid Grouse and Woodcock hunters and we will not breed
a dog unless it has been through a hunting season and proven it's desire to hunt wild birds.
We train and test in both "NAVHDA" and "NSTRA". Not only have our dogs proven their hunting abilities,
they are also loving members of our family.
We
believe in QUALITY hunting dogs, not in the QUANTITY of hunting dogs that we can put on the ground.
